Brian Cunningham Hair Beauty and Style Awards saw businesses in the Limerick region being honoured and recognised.

Brian Cunningham’s Hair Beauty and Style Awards descended on the Longcourt House Hotel on Sunday, April 16, 2023. This National Award ceremony which takes place all over the country saw businesses in the Hair, Beauty and Style sectors in the Limerick region being honoured and recognised.

TV Broadcaster and Fashion Designer Brendan Courtney was at the helm as MC once again with judges on the night including the Chairperson of the judging panel Glenda Gilson, Makeup Artist Derrick Carberry, Mikey North (Gary Windass from Coronation Street) and surprise special guest Celia Holman Lee giving out the top prizes in a range of categories.

Brian Cunningham is known as a celebrity agent, an event management firm and travel company and his company host and own The Hospitality Awards, The Customer Service Awards and introduced the Hair, Beauty and Style Awards last year and the reaction from the industry has been fantastic.  Speaking on the night Brian Cunningham paid tribute to all the businesses. “who work tirelessly in the industry making people look and feel good daily” and paid tribute to all the owners who have faced severe challenges over the last number of years including the pandemic of Covid 19, the increase in costs to owning a business and so much more.

There was a lot of excitement as the awards began with fantastic entertainment by Louis Younge on Saxophone and DJ. Diarmuid Guinan performed during the meal with music provided by the Lolz after the awards.

Winners included Cyril Morgan Hair for Best Overall Hair Salon and Eternal Beauty Salons for Best Aesthetic Clinic. Congratulations to all the winners!
