In 2002 a group of parents under the Chairperson of Ingo Biggs set up a start-up committee to have a second Educate Together school opened in Limerick. Limerick School Project opened in 1989 and it was felt that parents now needed a second school in Limerick.
The school opened in September 2004 with 12 children in Junior Infants.

The school was based in Young Munster Rugby clubhouse with temporary accommodation. teachers. Since that time the school has grown steadily with a projected enrolment of approx 215 for September 2014.
The then Principal Pauline Ryan built the school from humble beginnings and the school now has a staff of 8 teachers, 2 resource teacher, I learning support teacher and one language support. Pauline Ryan retired in Dec 2014 and their current Principal Michael Quealy took over.
