A community effort in Kilrush, County Clare, has seen people come together to raise more than €35,000 for Milford Care Centre through the recent Cappa Coffee & Dip fundraiser with donations still pouring in.

Held in honour of the vital work Milford Care Centre provides through palliative home care and their support provided to families, the Cappa Coffee & Dip fundraiser brought together people from the Kilrush community and beyond for a day of “coffee, cake, and a dip in the sea” as well as giving back to the community.

Posting to Instagram, Patrick Bourke Menswear, with locations in Ennis and Kilrush, was grateful for the support the event received. They said, “A huge thanks to everyone who came out to support this great cause! We had a fantastic day filled with love, laughter and memories. A massive thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors that made this day possible. We couldn’t have done it without you.”
