Limerick’s Live 95 FM 95 stop tour is an annual fundraising drive to raise funds for Limerick children in need and this year’s three beneficiaries are the Cari Foundation, helping children who have been victims of sexual abuse, The Children’s Ark Unit at University Hospital Limerick, and the Limerick Neo Natal Fund. Mary Madden, Cari Foundation said, “I want to take this opportunity to thank you all so much for helping us and supporting us each year at the Limericks Live 95 FM 95 Stop Tour for Limerick Kids. This fundraising means so much to us as it literally helps to keep our doors open. We only get limited government funding and this fundraising that we receive, it helps us to continue with our services.”

The Cari foundation provides counselling and therapy services for children and families affected by child sexual abuse.

“Today is also Welly Wednesday and I want to thank all the children of Limerick who are filling those wellies in every school. We’re so appreciative that little children help other little children who are less fortunate,” Mary Madden added.

We’ve had a great time here this morning. It’s day three, a really important day for us of the tour. And so far we’re very happy with how it’s going. People have been really generous. Our listeners and wider limerick public are amazing when it comes to raising for  a very good cause.”

Joe Nash also encourages everyone to donate at LimericksLive95FM.ie or to donate to one of the buckets out the for the 95 Stop Tour. People can also take part in the many more 95 Stop Tour events to come in the coming days and weeks.
