CARI Pop Up Shop is Back This June in the Parkway Shopping Centre
Great news as CARI’s shop is going to Pop Up again from Wednesday, June 14th until Saturday, June 17th at the Parkway Shopping Centre.
The CARI Pop Up Shop 2017 will be selling good quality ladies, gents and children’s clothes, shoes, handbags and jewellery. The shop will also have a range of toys and children’s and adults books.
If you have any of these items to donate, please drop them off. All funds raised on the days will go directly to providing counselling and therapy services for children and families that have been affected by child sexual abuse.
Children At Risk in Ireland (CARI) is a leading voluntary organisation that provides child-centered specialised therapy and support to children, families and groups affected by child sexual abuse. The CARI Foundation is a registered charity that has two full-time centres in Dublin and Limerick. As well as this, CARI also provides outreach therapy sessions in Meath, Galway, Kerry and Wicklow.
CARI helps those who have been affected by abuse and supports them during their recovering process, working to ensure that child sexual abuse is seen as an experience but not a defining event in the child’s life.
The foundation gives children a safe environment filled with hope, trust and confidence which leads them to a path of recovery through therapy. The non-profit organisation has been shining a light for children for now over 25 years.
CARI hold many different fundraising events throughout the year, such as their Christmas market or their family fun day in association with the Live95 Stop Tour for Limerick kids, which took place in September of 2016.
If anyone has anything to donate or are looking for a bargain, please support CARI Pop Up Shop 2017 this June. All funds raised from the pop-up shop stay in Limerick and will go to the CARI Limerick branch. As CARI is a charity, they rely on the public’s kindness and generosity for donations, so why not bring any discarded clothes or toys you may have at home, and support an extremely worthwhile cause. Come along and “CARI” home a bargain.
