Castleconnell Boat Club was founded 30 years ago and is situated in a unique and picturesque location on the banks of the River Shannon in the village of Castleconnell, Co. Limerick and takes advantage of a beautiful stretch of water between O’Brien’s Bridge and World’s End. It is only 6 miles from Limerick City and 3 miles from the University of Limerick.

Over the years the club has become deeply immersed and has become a central part of the local community. They have also built up a close working relationship with the University of Limerick and share their valuable facilities and resources as the need arises.

In addition to this news, Castleconnell Boat Club will be running a Summer Camp in compliance with the Government Guidelines for safety which begins from June 14 to August 23 (Linked Below).

The club runs Summer camps every year, for young people aged from 11 – 16. The camps are great fun and are a fantastic introduction to rowing, with many of their club rowers having their first taste of rowing at the camps and continuing on rowing with the club.

This year the Summer camps run from Monday to Friday from 11am to 2pm and are on at various weeks throughout the summer from June to August.
