Castletown Festival returns with exciting lineup for 2025 August Bank Holiday Weekend

The 2025 Castletown Festival is set to light up the August 2025 Bank Holiday, promising an incredible four days of music

Excitement is building in county Limerick as the Castletown Festival returns for the 2025 August Bank Holiday, running from Friday, August 1 to Monday, August 4 and promising an incredible lineup of music.

The 2025 festival brings a packed line-up to the Castletown stage and will entertain crowds with acts such as Seamus Moore, One For The Road, GS2 Music, Chasing Abbey, and the Gerry Cinnoman Experience, among other artists who will bring a wide variety of music to the festival.

The event organisers have expressed excitement for the 2025 festival and announced on Facebook that they have been “overwhelmed” with the response to the lineup. They said, “We are overwhelmed with the response so far, but just a reminder that there are limited tickets for each night, so if you haven’t gotten yours yet, then don’t delay. Thanks to each and every one of you that has gotten tickets so far, we can’t wait to see you there.”

The festival will see DJ Ricjie perform on Friday, Saturday, and Monday and will see One For The Road and Seamus Moore on kick off the festival on Friday, August 1. Chasing Abbie and GS2 Music will keep crowds entertained on Saturday and will be followed by performances from The Gerry Cinnaman Experience, Up In Smoke, and Super Ceili on Sunday, August 3.

Wrapping up the festival on Monday, August 4, crowds will be treated to the Sean O Dowd Show and with DJ Ricjie returning to the stage.

Tickets for the festival are on sale now, and attendees are reminded that it is strictly over 18s with ticket prices from €15 to €25 for single event entry, and a special €75 ticket for the full weekend pass. Booking fees may apply.

Richard is a presenter, producer, songwriter and actor. He was named the Limerick Person of the Year (2011) and won an online award at the Metro Éireann Media and Multicultural Awards (2011) for promoting multi-culturalism online. Richard says that the ilovelimerick.com concept is very much a community driven project that aims to document life in Limerick. So, that in 20 years time people can look back and remember the events that were making the headlines.
