It’s nearly show-time! After almost three months of rehearsals, and with a cast of over 100, the students at Castletroy College in association with Odeon Cinemas Castletroy proudly present Castletroy College All Shook Up!!

Leah O’Donnell is a Transition Year Student who plays the role of Natalie in the show says she has really enjoyed working on ‘All Shook Up’. Her sidekick Chad played by 6th Year Student Cian Cahill is new to the stage but looking forward to performing with the rest of his classmates.

Castletroy College All Shook Up

Leads Leah O Donnell and Cian Cahill who play the starring roles Natalie and Chad at Casteltroy College’s All Shook Up.

The show promises to be a smash hit spectacle with the students now ready and waiting to showcase their theatrical talents under the direction of teachers Anita Cunneen and Catherine Clohessy alongside Artistic Director Jessica Bray and Choreographer Pamela McGlynn.

 

Principal, Mr. Pádraig Flanagan said that the show is the culmination of months of hard work done by so many in the school community for which he thanked all involved particularly the sponsors for their generous donations which has made this musical masterpiece possible.

The mission of the College is the education of the individual as a whole person. In the pursuit of this ideal, the College provides a broadly based curriculum for all pupils of the community, allowing each pupil to attain the highest level of academic and skill-based attainment consonant with their interests, abilities, and talents. 

The impressive production is a comedy musical based on the songs of Elvis Presley and it all takes place in the Lime Tree Theatre on December 5th & 6th at 8 pm.
