Founded in 2014, The Pudding is a brand consultancy driven by CEO Gillian Horan alongside her team of industry experts. Speaking of The Pudding’s work as Ireland’s inside out brand specialists, CEO Gillian Horan says, “Our ultimate goal is to transform businesses by building brands with undeniable equity. We want brand to be on every board agenda. The context of this agenda item is to build a brand that your stakeholders trust and support, your people don’t want to leave and your customers connect with so much that not only are they loyal, they encourage others to be loyal, too.”

Their employer brand work has enabled them to work with some of the most influential brands, including Colgate, Smyths Toys and, most recently Blackrock Clinic. The Pudding’s 2021 ‘Powering the Freedom to Create’ employer brand campaign for WP Engine – the world-leading WordPress hosting platform – earned them an Institute of Designers in Ireland Award for “Use of Video in Design” in the category of Visual Communication

As an author, educator and public speaker, CEO Gillian Horan is a regular contributor to The Irish Times, Irish Examiner, and The Sunday Business Post, as well as joining the Image Virtual Business Summit in 2021, and being nominated for other accolades including the 2019 IMAGE Businesswoman of the Year Award in the CEO category.

Speaking of the Women Mean Business nomination, the Limerick native says, “I have followed Rosemary and her work with Women Mean Business for so many years, so it’s just fantastic to be nominated as a finalist for the 2022 awards.”
