A ‘Charity 10k Paddle’ will take place Saturday January 31st in aid of Rape Crisis Midwest. There will be teams of people kayaking from Castleconnell to Limerick city who will all have received sponsorship for doing so. This is a fantastic initiative which will raise much needed funds

A great event at any time but certainly kicking off 2015 with some outdoors activity would be great! If you are interested but have never kayaked before do not worry! Instructors from The Kayaking Company will be taking part so this paddle is open to complete novices as well as enthusiasts and everyone in between. Alternatively if you are not interested in kayaking but would like to be part of it then you can sponsor a boat.

Rape Crisis Midwest was established 32 years ago and is a regional organisation serving Limerick, Clare and Tipperary. We provide a free and confidential counselling service to both male and female survivors of rape and childhood sexual abuse.
