This latest contribution will help the Children’s Grief Centre continue offering a safe, compassionate environment for young people navigating the challenges of grief and loss. “We are deeply grateful to Campion Insurance for their continued support and generosity,” said Carol Fitz-Gough, Fundraising & Events Coordinator of the Children’s Grief Centre.

“This donation will go a long way in helping us provide professional and compassionate support to children and young people at a time when they need it most.”

Founded in 2009, the Children’s Grief Centre has supported over 2,500 children and young people across Ireland.

Based in Limerick city, the Centre provides a free one-to-one support service where children’s expression of emotions is facilitated in ways appropriate to their development stage and wishes through play, talking and listening.

In addition to their one-to-one support offering, the centre also provides workshops and support for parents/ guardians, teaching staff and organisations in the community.

Ian Sullivan, Director, Campion Insurance Limerick, added,d “ We are delighted to support the Children’s Grief Centre. From the day of my first visit to the Centre, I was immensely impressed by the team and the amazing work they do to support children and families in Limerick and across Ireland. Today’s donation was made possible through the fundraising efforts of the Campion Team in our nationwide network of offices and the support of the PIB Trust, and we look forward to supporting the Centre into the future”
