This Christmas season, a group of passionate music enthusiasts support Children’s Health Foundation through the power of music

This Christmas season, a group of passionate music enthusiasts—Alicja Rogal, Matthew Pellicano, and Anna Banko Szumacher—are coming together to spread joy and hope through the power of music.

The trio has created a heartfelt arrangement of the classic Christmas carol “Oh Holy Night” as a means of giving back to those in need.

Driven by their shared belief in music’s ability to inspire and uplift, Alicja, Matthew, and Anna have chosen to support the Children’s Health Foundation (CHF) this year. CHF is a remarkable organization dedicated to improving the lives of sick children and their families across Ireland. Their efforts range from funding life-saving medical equipment and pioneering research to providing essential support services for parents and young patients.

“Music has always been a source of comfort and inspiration for us,” said Alicja Rogal. “This Christmas, we wanted to use our talents to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families who are facing challenging times.”

Every donation received from this initiative will directly benefit the little patients and their families who depend on the services of CHI hospitals and urgent care centres in Temple Street, Crumlin, Connolly, and Tallaght. These contributions will help ensure that these children have the best possible chance to heal, grow, and thrive.

“We believe that helping others is one of the greatest gifts we can give,” added Matthew Pellicano. “As Jeff Warner beautifully said, ‘We are not put on this earth for ourselves, but are placed here for each other. If you are there always for others, then in time of need, someone will be there for you.’”

The trio’s special arrangement of “Oh Holy Night” with a polish twist, is not just a musical gift but a call to action. They invite everyone to open their hearts and share the gift of giving this Christmas. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a significant difference in the lives of these children and their families.

“We are deeply grateful for the kindness and generosity of everyone who supports this cause,” said Anna Banko Szumacher. “Let’s make this Christmas truly holy for all those amazing children.”

The music for this special arrangement was created by Matthew Pellicano, Anna Banko Szumacher, and Alicja Rogal, with videography by Matthew Pellicano and Adrian Szejka. The group hopes that their music will not only bring joy to listeners but also inspire them to contribute to a worthy cause.
