What was your childhood like and where did you grow up?

My childhood was great, pretty normal to be honest. I grew up in Limerick City and I am still living in the same house with Mam, Dad, my sister, my brother, my nephew, and our little doggo Ruby. I spent my childhood out on the road playing games, with groups of kids from the road. I also loved art as a child so that is definitely where this career stemmed from.

I remember being totally obsessed with ‘Art Attack’ on the kids channel and I would get my mom to help me make everything when he was on. I also remember watching Bob Ross on the box tv every single night… Maybe I wasn’t a normal child after all?

What got you into doing makeup and fashion? What do you love most about them?

As I mentioned above, I always loved art in school and always watched art shows on tv. My family is quite artistic and musical so the creativity is always spiralling. I remember wanting to go to art college in the first year of school and really working towards it. I would find shoes belonging to my mom under her bed and I would just draw them every night and add my own bits on. I slipped away from the fashion side of things when school was coming to an end and I picked up my first makeup brush.

I have been heavily influenced by Makeup Artists on YouTube and that became my new dream job. I started doing makeup for friends and family for nights out and I loved it! I just adore making people feel their best. I finished school in 2018 and had no clue what to do in college as it just did not interest me. I landed my first counter job on Charlotte Tilbury in BTs, moved from there to the MAC counter, and now I’m here, working for myself. When the pandemic began, I started falling into the fashion side of things again. I love styling outfits together and choosing outfits for occasions etc. I just love the creative side to it all!

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Don’t worry about what anyone else thinks! This is YOUR life, no one else’s!

What do you love and dislike about being a social influencer? What is your overall message on social media?

I love helping others out in any way I possibly can with my platform. I adore being creative and recording makeup or fashion content. I also love following or trying new trends from social media and sharing my thoughts on them.

I don’t like how negative people can be on social media. Just because you’re not speaking to them in person doesn’t mean they are not real, and more people need to realise that.

I want to use my platform to inspire every single person that comes across it. Go for what it is you aspire to be and do not give up!

What would be your top makeup tip?

BLEND BLEND BLEND to the godssss!

Do you have any advice for anyone looking at getting into makeup and fashion?

Practice, practice, practice when it comes to makeup. Use social media to grow and learn. You can pay a lot of money for makeup/fashion schools but it all falls back on your passion for it in the end. Self-teach yourself and start now! Follow people on social media that you can relate to and learn from their content. Try to narrow down what it is you love about makeup or fashion, and you will flourish from there.

What has been your greatest accomplishment so far?

I have achieved a lot in such a small space of time since I started this journey and I am so proud! I created my own lash line with a local business in Limerick. I have worked with brands that I love such as MAC, Primark, Catrice, Inglot, Bellamianta, Warner Music, and lots more! I am forever grateful for it all!

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I see myself running my own successful BRAND, growing, and growing every day, expanding my team. I also see myself driving my dream car…

What exciting upcoming projects do you have?

Nothing that I can speak about yet… just keep an eye on my socials.

And lastly, what do you love about Limerick?

I love our community! The good and the bad. I love how kind and helpful each person is when you need them even if you are strangers.
