The Milk Market will bring the sounds of Christmas this year as the Christmas Big Band brings a blend of festive classics to Live at the Big Top

The Christmas Big Band is bringing some classic Christmas songs and Melodies to the Milk Market on Thursday, December 5 as the 18-piece band is joined by esteemed guest vocalists such as Liam O’Brien, Sarah Dolan, and jazz-inspired singer Jane Fraser.
Led by musical director Bryan Meehan, the band will showcase festive hits, blending traditional and swing influences and the group has put together a full vibrant sound to capture the magic of the festive season on what will be a heartwarming nostalgic evening.
Special guest vocalist Liam O’Brien, an acclaimed interpreter of swing music, is well-known in Ireland and beyond for his smooth vocals and charismatic stage presence. A former West End star, O’Brien has graced stages from London’s Royal Albert Hall to Blackpool’s Sands venues and bringing a blend of crooning and jazz he is the ideal performer to usher in the holiday season.
Sharing the stage, Limerick native Soprano Sarah Dolan began her formal vocal studies at the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama, Ireland, where she received an honours degree in Vocal Performance. Sarah then went on to study at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM) after she was a recipient of the Thomas Moore Vocal Bursary and the prestigious James H. Schwabacher Jr. Scholarship.
Fellow Limerick singer Jane Fraser will lend her jazz and soul-infused voice, adding her signature wit and authenticity to this festive concert.
In addition to the music, the Milk Market will offer delicious seasonal foods and a full bar, adding to the evening’s festive appeal and tickets are available on the Dolans website.
