 “The Limerick Milk Market is excited to announce the Christmas at the Limerick Milk Market 2019. This year we have a range of traditional day time Christmas Markets of festive foods mixed with some special one-off Christmas events,” said David Fitzgerald, Limerick Milk Market Manager.  

There are some Early December Xmas Fringe events with the Xmas Record Fair on Sunday, December 1st and the Christmas Art Fair on Sunday, December 8th.

Friday, December 13th will feature a Christmas Transition Year Enterprise Market in partnership with Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Limerick and WizzKids.ie from 10 am to 3 pm with up to a sixty; second-level local school teams showcasing the latest in Student innovation projects with prizes for the best product/project team. Also featuring festive music and many local Craft/Food vendors. There are multiple generous Sponsored Prizes worth over €1,000 courtesy of event sponsor MAST.ie including Best Innovation, Best Student Business Team, and Best Student Display.

Saturday, December 14th they have the Famous Food Market Christmas Edition 8 am to 3 pm with Christmas stockings full of seasonal cuisine and treats from your local food producers. Christmas Turkey Orders, Minced Pies, Puddings, Christmas Hams Chestnuts, Brandy Butter, Christmas Desserts/Baked Goodies and least not forget some good old sprouts from our seasoned vegetable traders while be at the ready for all to enjoy and savour! 

On Saturday also, they have an Extra special Santa this year for you to get your picture with, 100% of the money raised will be donated to help fund Limericks own hero’s at Limerick Suicide Watch (LSW) with the kind assistance of Lyons of Limerick Ford who has sponsored the Xmas series from since 2016.

Sunday, December 15th will feature a Christmas Craft Fair 11 am to 4 pm with up to 50 Handmade Crafts, Fashion, Artists, Horticulture, Photographers and much more to give that someone special the best gift of all. A unique gift of Limerick making!

Friday, December 20th they have an eclectic mix of Seasonal Food, Christmas Crafts, Choirs and Festive Fun! Best of all there is Free Entry from 10 am to 3 pm.

Saturday 21st to Tuesday 24th December they have the Final Famous Food Markets, Christmas Edition from 8 am to 3 pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday finishing on Tuesday’s Christmas Eve from 8 am to 2 pm with Christmas stockings full of seasonal cuisine and treats from your local food producers. Stock up on Christmas Farmers Produce and Artisan Delights. 

Over the months of December, you can post your Santa letter in the Milk Market outside Country Choice/Bon Appetit and place a Christmas Decoration Message on the Tree outside Harpers Café and Wilde Irish Chocolates with special prizes from the four shops above to those who participate. Deck yourself out in with some vintage and boutique fashion across the Edge, and Vito shops, dazzle a loved one with unique Christmas crafts for the Gift Store at the Market and enjoy some of the fine cafes and restraints at the Milk Market this Christmas.
