HOMS Assist has announced the promotion of Claire Tuohy to Partner, recognising her expertise in wills, trusts, probate and cross-border estates.
Claire has been a member of the HOMS Assist team since 2017 and specialises in private client law advising individuals and families on complex succession and estate matters, including contentious probate and trust disputes.
Dual-qualified in Ireland and in England and Wales, Claire holds an LLB in Law and European Studies from the University of Limerick and a STEP Diploma in Administration of Trusts and Estates. Her dual qualifications and experience provide her with a strong understanding of the legal and tax complexities arising in cross-border cases, particularly between Ireland and the UK.

Claire is a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP), an internationally recognised professional body for trust and estate practitioners. She is a committee member of the STEP Ireland branch and is a lecturer for the Law Society and STEP Ireland diploma. She also regularly presents on issues relevant to estate planning. She is widely regarded for her empathetic, practical and solutions- based approach.
