The Clarion Hotel Limerick held a ‘show off’ evening of their new Kudos bar and restaurant on Thursday September 10. €1m has been invested in the refurbishment of the new, stylish Kudos bar and 100 of the Clarion Hotel Limerick modern bedroom suites have also been renovated.

Speaking to Elaine Ryan who is the marketing manager at the Clarion Hotel Limerick she said: “We wanted to ‘show off’ our new bar and our new reception area and of course we have refurbished 100 of our bedrooms too. It has been a heavy few weeks of kango hammers, drills, dust and everything else. It has been really hard for the ground floor but we are really lucky that it turned out so well. The launch night is all about this ground floor area which used to be a boardroom or meeting room but now there is lots more light and it is perfect for morning coffee, lunch, dinner and this area is also available to be reserved for 30/40 people for occasions. Elaine added: “Kudos bar is a brand synonymous here at the Clarion doing Thai/Malaysian and European food which is delicious and works really well for us. We have opened up the bar and taken out the meeting room at the bottom of the bar so it is totally opened up and we have taken away the curtains so it has great natural daylight and the best views in the city. We are trying to appeal to the morning coffee drinkers we have a great range of cakes and scones, we do a great lunch menu and a Kudos menu, we do a great dinner here in Kudos bar and the space is perfect for small gatherings, birthdays 21st, 30th, 40, everything it is ideal.”

Elaine finished by saying: “We have invested over €1m euro into the property so we are looking forward to a good finish to 2015 and a great 2016.”
