Clionas Foundation CLUB Limerick Golf Event 2018 event promises a Musical Swing time

Clionas Foundation CLUB Limerick Golf Event 2018 will take place on Thursday 31 May & Friday 1st June at Castletroy Golf Club. For the 4th year, the CLUB has selected Cliona’s Foundation as their charity partner for the 2 day event.

The event tees off with a coffee morning with a difference on Thursday 31st at 10.30am where highly acclaimed duet Treble & Bass will provide the music and the Sportsperson of the year and International referee Joy Neville will be a special guest.

“ We are honoured to have Joy Neville as one of our ambassadors,” said Brendan Ring of Cliona’s Foundation. “She has been a fantastic supporter and we are delighted she is asking time out from a very busy schedule to join us. It will definitely be a unique morning in the beautiful surroundings of Castletroy Golf Club with refreshments very generously sponsored by  Jeannie Moloney,  On The Tee Catering. All are welcome to attend and we are just looking for people to purchase raffle tickets or make a donation on the morning”

There is an additional opportunity to support Cliona’s Foundation by participating in a Women’s Competition on Friday morning. includeslunchOpen to any golf club of golf society member, the entry fee is €50 per person, with teams of 4 and €20 of the fee going directly to Cliona’s Foundation.  The entry fee includes lunch in the clubhouse, gift bag sponsored by Brown Thomas an opportunity to won a number of wonderful prizes. Available tee times are 8.30 – 10.30 and can be booked by calling Sean Scanlan at 086 8224584

“There really is something for everyone across the two days”, Brendan Ring says  “whether a golfer or not,  a member of Castletroy Golf Club or not, and we would love if people would come out and support and help us help the many families of children with a life-limiting condition that we currently have on our waiting list and desperately need support.”
