The open day was perfect for learners considering what pathway to take in the continuation of their education, or indeed contemplating a return to education as the campuses are a valued and worthwhile choice.

Prospective learners also had the opportunity to speak with staff and learn more about the huge range of flexible training and learning opportunities that each individual campus possesses.

The unified prospectus that incorporates each of these fantastic campuses is filled with options – not only for school leavers, but for adults alike – that provide clear pathways to further education and career-based progression. College of FET, Kilmallock Road Campus also offers a Youthreach Programme which offers a range of support for 15 to 20 year olds.

Leah, a learner of Applied Science said, “I really love my course, my teachers and the people in my course.”

Hashmit, an English learner, spoke about the facilities saying, “I love everything about this campus, especially the teachers and the facilities, which are always available to use, I especially love the canteen. It’s a great place to learn!”

Terry, a learner commented, “It’s different from secondary school and the typical student teacher relationships, as here you feel a friendship with the teachers who offer an ongoing mentorship.”
