Adare Manor has been named one of the best new hotels in the world by Condé Nast Traveller. The Limerick-based hotel was among a number of new hotels featured in Condé Nast Traveller’s annual hot list. The list, which is now in its 22nd year, features the best of the best, only featuring less than 25% of the new hotels they visit.
Adare Manor is the only Irish hotel to feature on the Condé Nast Traveller hot list, which describes the hotel as a “delicious mix of old and new” with “genuinely warm staff, grand and intimate spaces and super-comfortable rooms”.
After a 21-month refurbishment, Adare Manor re-opened its doors last November. The newly designed luxury resort added a brand new extension, which added a new 42-bedroom wing as well as a new ballroom with a capacity for 350 guests. The original building was fully developed inside with a boardroom and a cinema for guests and delegates. The refurbishment also saw the opening of a brand new La Mer spa, becoming Ireland and the UK’s first and only La Mer Spa and one of only eleven La Mer Spa’s worldwide.
In March of 2018, Rory McIlroy, Paul McGinley, Padraig Harrington and Shane Lowry cut the ribbon on The Golf Course at Adare Manor, which is set to quickly become one of the world’s most celebrated layouts.
The Condé Nast Traveller Hot List is an annual list detailing the best new hotels across the globe. The 2018 Condé Nast Traveller Hot List features over 100 hotels in 35 countries.
