Revival Press proudly announces the launch of “The Beauty in the Broken”, the highly anticipated debut collection from renowned poet, author and storyteller Cora Peters

Described as “A true modern day Bard”, Cora Peters brings her exceptional storytelling gifts to this collection of magnificent poems and stories that evoke vivid memories of growing up in Limerick. “The Beauty in the Broken” offers readers an insightful and deeply moving memoir chronicling her childhood and the influential people and places that shaped her remarkable voice.

A respected figure in Limerick’s artistic community, Cora Peters has a long history of contributing to the city’s vibrant literary scene. She has been a regular reader at The White House Poetry Revival Sessions,The First Wednesday Poetry Series at The White House Bar, The Belltable, The Hunt Museum, The People’s Museum of Limerick and The Coach House, Pery Square. She has also read her work at Listowel Writers Week, Shandon Bell Tower, Cork, Nun’s Island Theatre, Cork and Cúirt International Festival of Literature, Galway – which she also reviewed for radio for a number of years and is a member of The Limerick Poets Society.
Revival Press, the poetry imprint of the Limerick Writers Centre, continues its mission of supporting established and emerging poets since its founding in 2009. “The Beauty and the Broken” is available to buy at O’Mahony’s Booksellers, Limerick, The Hunt Museum, Limerick, Charlie Byrne’s Bookshop Galway and online.
The launch event will take place on Friday, April 25 at 7.30.pm at The People’s Museum of Limerick, Pery Square. Everybody is welcome to attend this launch and Wine and canapes will be served. Cora will be donating all of her profits from the sale of her book to Milford Care Centre.
