Are you interested in boosting your energy levels, improving difficult situations at home or work, or generating new ideas for business? On Saturday May 17, Tracy Aspel will be running a workshop at the Maldron Hotel that will show you just how. Tracy has been working with us at ILoveLimerick for years and is a force of nature. A lovely talented lady that has motivated our team to succeed and we would genuinely be lost without her.

She has been performing with Choke Comedy since 2009, and has used improvisation techniques with a variety of businesses, community groups and individuals. She has seen first-hand how much improvisation helps to “unblock” people who can often feel like they are out of options. A law and business graduate, Tracy understands how improvisation works well off-stage to give people better results in work and in their personal life. Improvisation techniques are short exercises, which help to tap into your creative thinking and bring the ideas that are inside all of us, out to the surface. These ideas are the key to solving problems, feeling happier and enhancing your creative flow.

I recently asked Tracy to come take part in a motivational youth conference called ‘Inspire’ at UL Concert Hall and the 700 students in the audience loved her and her quirky sense of humour.  The exercises she will be teaching on the day are quick, effective and easy to use outside of the training room, so you can use them again and again. You are guaranteed to have a right laugh on the daytoo, as the exercises are fun and are being taught by a comedian!

This workshop will be kept to small numbers, so advance booking is essential, and you can book by visiting this www.thecreativeinstitute.ie/feeling-more-confident or by calling 086 1224455.

Richard is a presenter, producer, songwriter and actor. He was named the Limerick Person of the Year (2011) and won an online award at the Metro Éireann Media and Multicultural Awards (2011) for promoting multi-culturalism online. Richard says that the ilovelimerick.com concept is very much a community driven project that aims to document life in Limerick. So, that in 20 years time people can look back and remember the events that were making the headlines.
