Crooning At Christmas 2015

Crooning at Christmas is once again upon us. Limerick man Liam O’Brien’s yuletide celebration of the swing era is closely identified with this festive time of year. This being the eleventh year running, it comes to Dolan’s Warehouse for one night this Wednesday, December 23

Expectations are set high as Liam, former Emmerdale star, gathers his outstanding supporting cast to aid him and people reminisce of the previous years events that were so remarkably done. Having debuted the show in 2004 in Limerick and played throughout Ireland over the last 11 years, Liam is most well-known in recent years for his performance as Dean Martin in the West End hit ‘The Rat Pack – Live from Las Vegas’.

Looking back to where it all began, while playing curate Ethan Blake for years on ITV’s hit drama, it was then that he commenced singing swing in the upbeat lounge and bar jazz scene in Leeds. It even led to a solo Christmas performance on stage at the Royal Albert Hall in Carols with the Stars. Liam received ideal training for his Crooning shows with a two-year engagement touring the world playing Dean Martin in The Rat Pack – Live from Las Vegas and its Christmas spin-off.

In this upcoming show people attending are in for a real treat as we will be seeing O’Brien perform all the classics such as, Bing Crosby’s White Christmas, Dean Martin’s Baby It’s Cold Outside and Frank Sinatra’s Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas also  including new songs by Connick and Buble. This years special guests consists of Jessica Bray, Fiona Marie Booth, Emma Langford and Brian McCann. With this talented cast and amazing line up of our favourite classics, this years event is sure to be another big hit.
