Dance Limerick is inviting the public to its 2024 Winter Warmer event for a celebration of dance, live music, and a chance to reflect on what has been a successful year for the Limerick dance group.

The Winter Warmer, taking place on Sunday, December 8, is a family-friendly event and tickets are free, but early booking of tickets is advised as the event will put the region’s dance talent on display with global performers who are currently based in Limerick.

Speaking about the event, Dance Limerick said, “We will have the chance to watch dance performances and participate in short dance workshops from a selection of some of the diverse communities that make up our city.

Following the success of last year’s Winter Warmer, Dance Limerick is bringing the event back for the opportunity to reflect on the 2024 successes as well as promoting local dancers and embrace Limerick’s diverse society.

They said, “Drawing from the success of last year’s international winter celebration, Dance Limerick are delighted to partner with Limerick City and County Council one more year to showcase and share international dance in Limerick with a multicultural event that will embody the spirit of community, sharing and joy that characterises this city.”

The organisers invite the public to come and join them on the day, saying it is a chance for people to “experience different dance styles and learn some new moves!”
