Dave Falconer releases latest single ‘Love the Way You Lie’

Dave Falconer signs latest single, ‘Love the Way You Lie’, to a subdivision of international record label Perfect Havoc

A third-year student on the TUS Music Technology & Production course is celebrating as his latest track is being released on an influential UK dance music label.

Dave Falconer (20) from County Clare, is thrilled to announce his latest single ‘Love the Way You Lie’ which was released on Steaming Records a subdivision of Perfect Havoc on the 19th December.

Dave said “Steaming Records and Perfect Havoc have a huge reputation in dance music and had a number of chart hits. The label has more than a billion streams online and launched Joel Corry who has had massive international success. They also host club nights at one of the best-known clubs in London. Perfect Havoc have worked with other artists including Karen Harding, Alex Ross, Robbie G, and Todd Terry to name a few.

Dave, a third-year Music Technology and Production student at TUS in Limerick, said “It’s fantastic to be signed by such a well-respected label. For them decide to release ‘Love the Way You Lie’ is unreal.  I began working on the track last year, knew there was something in it and with their help fine-tuned it along the way.”

“I’m hoping to follow a career in music production when I finish my degree. I started getting into producing music back in 2021 when I began posting remixes on SoundCloud. I got lots of support on social media, Dec Pierce had been watching what I was doing and invited me and a friend to be the support act for his Block Rockin’ Beats show in Glor, Ennis. Last year I got the opportunity to be support act for Marty Guilfoyle at Tulla Fest”. Dave has signed record deals with labels including PLATIN EDM, BlindSided Records and DaCosta Records in the past.

‘Love the Way You Lie’ is available on all music streaming platforms.
