Declan Hannon received a touching tribute from Adare GAA, as the club paid tribute to the hurler’s inter-county hurling career with a special evening at the Woodlands House Hotel.

The ex-Limerick Senior Hurling Captain announced his retirement from inter-county hurling in October 2025, and was joined by both his Limerick and Adare teammates, management, and people who have helped him on his journey for the special occasion.

Thanks to the Fitzgerald Family and everyone at the Woodlands Hotel, TJ Ryan for doing a fantastic job as MC, all the speakers who kept us thoroughly entertained, and Kevin McCarthy who provided the music afterwards. A truly wonderful night that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.”
