Deliveroo announces 14 new Limerick partnerships.

Limerick’s top delivery service, Deliveroo has announced new partnerships with 14 of Limerick City’s finest eateries securing their second Munster County this June 27.

Deliveroo, the on-demand delivery service that brings high-quality restaurant meals to your door in an average of 32 minutes, announced its plans to expand into Limerick last month, working to secure over 50 new rider jobs as well as supporting the local hospitality industry.

Since its launch in 2015, Deliveroo has signed up over 200 restaurants across Ireland and created more than 400 new jobs to service its platform operations across its four Irish hubs; Dublin, Cork, Galway and most recently, Belfast. Now, Deliveroo announces 14 new Limerick partnerships.

Deliveroo General Manager of Ireland, Oliver Dewhurst, acknowledged the company’s success and looks forward to expanding Deliveroo’s services throughout the city centre and the wider Limerick regions.

“The pace at which our services have been adopted in Ireland has been extremely impressive. Limerick people appreciate quality food and that’s evidenced by the breadth and quality of the high-end restaurants on offer here. Currently, our services are available in Limerick’s city centre, but over the coming months we hope to be able to expand our zones based on our customer demand.”

Co-owner of Limerick based restaurant The Buttery, Hazel Murphy says, “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Deliveroo. We’ve been watching Ireland’s demand for the online service grow steadily over the last year, so we’re excited they’re now coming to Limerick. This opportunity allows us to extend our ability to deliver high quality food to our customers beyond our restaurant, and helps to continue to grow our customer base without having to change a single element of our operation. So for us, partnering with Deliveroo makes perfect commercial sense!”

Deliveroo is focused on providing the ultimate food delivery experience. Customers have the option to schedule orders via the Deliveroo app up to one day in advance or receive food as soon as possible between 12 noon and 11pm, from a variety of leading local, independent and high-quality chain restaurants, conveniently delivered to their homes and offices in an average of 32 minutes.
