A special dinner was hosted at Croom Civic Centre, bringing members of the local community together to celebrate the contribution Denis Brosnan has made to the community over the past four decades.
Denis Brosnan is one of Ireland’s leading and most respected businessmen. He was the founder, Chief Executive and, until 2003, Chairman of Kerry Group PLC., where he was the driving force behind the transformation of Kerry Co-op into a global food and ingredients group. He has contributed significantly to the development of the South West region and to Ireland as a whole, through his innovative leadership at Kerry Group. Mr. Brosnan is the Chairman of the Limerick Economic Forum.
In October 2020, it was announced that Mr Brosnan would step down from his role at Limerick Twenty Thirty, where he was a founding chairman for the group in 2016.

Reflecting on the evening celebrating Denis Brosnan in Croom, Croom.ie said, “A wonderful evening at Croom Civic Centre as we came together to celebrate Mr Denis Brosnan and his incredible contribution to our community over the past 40 years.
“It was fantastic to see so many local groups, volunteers and friends in attendance, reflecting the wide impact Denis has had across Croom. From community development projects to supporting local organisations, his dedication has helped shape the town we know today.
Thank you to everyone who joined us to mark such a special occasion—and to Hook & Ladder for the excellent food on the night.”
