The 2024 Don Reddan Charity Golf Classic, hosted by the Limerick Central Rotary Club raises €6,350 in aid of the Irish Cancer Society
The annual Don Reddan Charity Golf Classic, hosted by the Limerick Central Rotary Club on Friday 10th May 2024 in Ballyneety Golf Club, has raised €6,350 in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.
Tom Flavin, President of Limerick Central Rotary Club, commented, “We were again overwhelmed by the support we received for our annual golf classic, which raises vital funds to support local and national charities. Our sincere thanks to all the teams who played on the day, to our generous sponsors and to Ballyneety Golf Club”.
Over 30 teams teed off on the day, with the team sponsored by James McCarthy of JMC Fabrication taking home first prize.
Sinead Gillespie, National Fundraising Lead at the Irish Cancer Society said: “We cannot thank the Limerick Central Rotary Club and all those who took part in the annual Don Reddan Charity Golf Classic enough for their incredible support.
“All our cancer research and vital free services like our Support Line, free Transport Service, Daffodil Centres, Cancer information, financial grants and Night Nursing are fuelled by fundraising. The Irish Cancer Society typically receives only 5% of our income from the Government so it’s your support that allows us to continue to be there for every child and adult affected by cancer in Ireland.”
