Participants can sign up solo, with friends or as part of a workplace or club team challenge. Corporate entry packages are available, allowing businesses to make a direct donation while giving staff a memorable team-building experience.

Funds raised will support the essential services Down Syndrome Limerick provides to children and adults with Down syndrome and their families across the region.

Michelle Coughlan, Chairperson of Down Syndrome Limerick, said, “This event truly puts the fun into fundraising. Thomond Park is an iconic sporting ground here in Limerick and abseiling from the West Stand offers participants a unique opportunity to experience this wonderful stadium from a completely different perspective, while also taking in spectacular views across Limerick city.

Events like this are incredibly important to us at Down Syndrome Limerick. They not only help us continue the vital work we do, but also bring people together, raise awareness and celebrate the true spirit of community.

We encourage everyone to join us for a fantastic day out while supporting children and adults with Down syndrome, helping us to continue providing the services they need to reach their full potential”.

Places are limited and expected to fill quickly; those interested in taking part are urged to sign up early with registration through Eventmaster or to enquire about corporate team entry, contact [email protected].  All details are available through Down Syndrome Limerick’s social media pages.
