Nevsail Watersports Eggscelent Easter Egg Hunt to raise money for AWARE

This year’s Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, March 31, 2018, from 2 – 4 pm at their Nevsail Beach Hut in Kilkee, Co.Clare. and at the Hunt Museum in Limerick City.

Nevsail Watersports Eggscelent Easter Egg Hunt to raise money for AWARE

Nevsail Watersport was first set up 15 years ago with the aim to share their love of watersports and adventure activities in Ireland. They deeply believe in the benefits of getting active, the great outdoors and experiencing extreme sports and adventure activities as a way to improve health and happiness.

Unfortunately, the rate of suicide in Limerick City has risen in the last years and is more than twice the national average (National Suicide Research Foundation, Report 2014-2016). That is why it’s all the more meaningful for Nevsail that an organisation like AWARE is there to help them do the best they can. Nevsail wants to celebrate life and put a positive sign on the shores of the Shannon. And what better way to spread positivity than to run a colourful and fun family charity event at Easter?

After the great support and success of last year’s ‘Eggselent Easter Egg Hunt’, Nevsail Watersport are running this year’s Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31, 2018, from 2 – 4 pm at their Nevsail Beach Hut in Kilkee, Co.Clare. and at the Hunt Museum in Limerick City. These events are in their fifth year running and are a charity fundraiser in aid of “AWARE”. They hope to raise much-needed funds to help with mental health and suicide in Ireland. The hunt itself is fun and enjoyable and has been a great success over the years. It is suitable for toddlers to teens and all the young at heart, and we hope that many of you will come out and support this day. The Easter Bunny will make an appearance along with the Easter Chicks, jugglers, face painters and spot prizes up for grabs! This is a great family fun day out, and parent’s participation is also very welcome.

It’s your choice if you like to donate or join the Easter Egg Hunt in Limerick City (Hunt Museum) or Kilkee (Nevsail Beach Hut) on the March 31 from 2 – 4 pm. Any donation, little or large, is much appreciated by Nevsail Watersport and AWARE.
