Eastside MuayThai is raising funds to support Eoin Bryan as he prepares to fly the flag for Ireland at the 2026 WBC Muay Thai World Games in Thailand
Eastside MuayThai is raising funds to support Eoin Bryan’s journey as he prepares for the 2026 WBC Muay Thai World Games in Bangkok, Thailand, where he will represent Ireland from June 25 to 29.
Speaking about the achievement, Eastside MuayThai trainer Calvin Ross said, “At Eastside Muaythai, we’re extremely proud to see one of our fighters representing Ireland on the international stage. Opportunities like this are massive not only for the athlete, but also for the club and the wider Muay Thai community in Limerick.”
His teammates at Eastside MuayThai have previously represented Team Ireland at the same tournament over the past three years, bringing home gold medals in their respective weight categories at events in Venice 2023, Bangkok 2024, and Verona 2025.

“It gives a great boost and sense of excitement throughout the club in the build-up to this event and once again on returning home,” said Calvin, adding, “Eoin has put countless hours into his preparation for this Tournament 5/6 nights a week, while working as an apprentice carpenter too. Showing his discipline and sacrifice towards his training is a testament to him, and something everyone at the club is proud of!”
The fundraising campaign will help cover essential costs such as travel, accommodation, and competition registration fees along with nutrition and training camp costs. The club emphasised that every donation regardless of size is welcome and will go directly to the fighter.
Calvin said, “Experiences like this are invaluable for young fighters and help inspire the next generation coming through the gym to show anything is possible if you put the work in!”
