Launching on Spotify on May 26th, The Hotel Resort with Ed Roche sees a range of celebrity guests “checking in” to a fictional luxury hotel, where award-winning radio presenter Ed Roche acts as the hotel manager.
Across each episode, guests share hilarious travel stories, holiday habits, dream destinations, and the kind of baggage they really bring on trips — both physically and emotionally. By the end of every episode, listeners will be left asking themselves one important question:
“Would I like to go on holidays with that person?”

Ed Roche – who’s an award winning radio presenter for SPIN says the unique podcast concept allows listeners to experience celebrity interviews in a completely fresh way.
“The idea is that I check the guest into The Hotel Resort. We first meet at reception. I then show them their room where we’ll find out what their room demands are, plus we’ll unpack their baggage — both physically and emotionally. Once the chat is over, we check the guests out of the hotel and they reveal if they’d come back here or not with their own personal rating of their experience.”
The first guest checking into The Hotel Resort is make-up artist and creator of KASH Beauty, Keilidh Cashell. Keilidh reveals the one placed she loved the visit. We hear how a trip to London ended up with her suitcase going on the missing list. She also shares the one thing she usually forgets to pack and the surprising thing she does when she checks into a hotel room.
Over the following weeks, listeners can also expect appearances from a well-known TV chef, a social media star, and a drag diva – some of these stars are well known to the people of Limerick but their identities are under wraps for now.
The series promises candid conversations, plenty of laughs, and a playful behind-the-scenes look at how celebrities behave when they’re away from home. From hotel demands to travel disasters, no suitcase is left unopened at The Hotel Resort.
