I really believe in communities and organisations working together to create something special. I think it’s the answer and solution to a multitude of problems and has been working for I Love Limerick for over 6 years now. With that in mind I suggested on teaming up to show what could be achieved if Limerick companies worked together to benefit each other, as there is unconscious lack of team support amongst Limerick organisations and so this new partnership developed.

Limerick celebrities Leanne Moore and Kamal Ibrahim also came on board in a show of support for the initiative. The three organisations involved could not be more different.

Elive Internet Business Solutions is a business that have been providers of online services to clients worldwide for over 17 years; I Love Limerick is a non profit volunteer based organisation that promotes the positive stories of Limerick people and Cliona’s Foundation, a registered charity that provides financial assistance to families with critically ill children. As a token of goodwill back to give back to the community, Elive will donate a percentage of each new subscription fee to Cliona’s Foundation and in return Cliona’s Foundation will promote the benefits of working with a local company such as Elive by incorporating Elive’s logo on their published material.

‘I strongly hope that it will inspire other Limerick businesses to support their own as I believe that by working together and protecting our own, all Limerick organiastions can achieve so much more. My motto is that 2+2=7 and by this I mean that there is strength in numbers and we can all benefit by working together and sharing each other’s resources. This is the ethos that I Love Limerick has grown from.’

Managing Director of Elive, Seánie Ryan, explains what separates Elive from his competitors, “Our personal relationships with our clients are of the utmost importance to us. Our service is one on one. We also believe in giving back to the Limerick community. At Elive we offer free domain registration to charities and community groups. We want to do our part for those organisations involved in supporting the greater community in which we live and operate.” This deep passion of giving back is comparable to the mission of Cliona’s Foundation; to help all eligible families who apply for funding. Brendan Ring of Cliona’s Foundation said ‘We are continuously receiving applications from desperate families at the end of their “hope rope” struggling to cope with the financial drain of caring for a critically ill child. We unquestionably do not want to turn these people away due to insufficient funds and are thrilled to work with Seanie and Richard to raise even more funds and awareness for our cause.”

This collaboration between three very different Limerick companies should be recognised as a blueprint for other companies in the Limerick area. By working together, Limerick companies and organisations can utilise each others resources to promote each other thereby bring them closer to their own individual goals of success.
