Limerick content creators Emma Dineen and Natalia Landz take to the field for Gaelic 4 Good in a bid to support Limerick Treaty Suicide Prevention and United Through Sport on Saturday, August 8
Limerick content creator Emma Dineen will move from the soccer pitch to Gaelic games for this year’s Gaelic 4 Good charity match on Saturday, August 8, in St. Peregrine’s GAA Club, Dublin, where she will highlight the work of Limerick Treaty Suicide Prevention.
Known online for creating League of Ireland content, particularly around Treaty United FC, Emma was invited to trade in League of Ireland soccer for Gaelic Football, joining 80 influencers and creators in the charity match.
Gaelic 4 Good founder Simon Edwards got Emma on board following her performance at a charity soccer match in Cobh earlier this year, with Emma looking forward to the experience even though she told I Love Limerick, “I have never touched a Gaelic football in my whole life. But I am looking forward to making a fool of myself.”

Gaelic For Good brings together more than 80 influencers and creators, with each player representing a different charity. Unlike traditional charity matches, where funds usually go towards one or two organisations, the event’s motto is “every player for a different cause”.
The Limerick representative chose to support Limerick Treaty Suicide Prevention, saying he wanted to highlight the organisation’s work in the community.
She told I Love Limerick, “ I’m a Limerick woman through and through. You see them walking around, they’re always out there on the bridges. I think the work they do is phenomenal. Everyone in Limerick has seen them and knows what they do, but I think it needs to be highlighted more because the work they do is incredible!”
The Limerick influencer added that mental health awareness is an important issue and that everyone should know there is someone available to talk to when they need support. She said, “ I think mental health is such an important thing to highlight, and I’d like everyone to know that someone has somebody to talk to.”
Emma will be joined by 79 other influencers, including Galway footballer Sean ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald, fresh from their appearance on Love Island as Emma looks for the challenge of marking the inter-county footballer.
She said, “ He’s on the other team as well. So God knows, I’m definitely going to be put next to him and made a holy show of for sure!”
The event will also see a number of other influencers and creators take part, including fellow Limerick influencer Natalia Landz from Glin, County Limerick, who will be raising funds for United Through Sport, a charity working with participants from disadvantaged communities, aged 5 – 35.
The charity is focused on using the power of sport to help children and youth on their pathway to success, committed to the holistic development of each of their participants, focusing on their health, education and personal development.
The creator encouraged people to support the event by attending, donating through Gaelic 4 Good, or donating directly to Limerick Treaty Suicide Prevention.
