In 2023 Emma returned to Ontario, joining the BVB International Academy Waterloo, making six appearances for the club before it later rebranded as Waterloo United, where she continued her development.

Oliphant said she was “excited” to be joining Treaty United, telling TreatyUnited.com, “I’ve heard nothing but good things about Limerick, the club and the players. It’s clear that coach Laurie and the club have a strong vision for the women’s program! I can’t wait to get started!”

Manager Laurie Ryan also commented, “We are really excited to see Emma in the league, she’s a talented and hardworking player that will add a lot to the group. Her ability on the ball and in attack is what makes her the perfect fit for our team.”

Oliphant is the latest of a host of new signings announced by the club ahead of the 2026 season which has seen forward Brianna Taylor sign from FK Gintra, Sligo Rovers’ goalkeeper Amber Hardy, Galway United’s Rola Olusola, and Limerick native, Jodie Griffin all join the senior women’s team, along with academy graduate, Ellen Goggin.
