Ursula Mackenzie, Coordinator said, “Job Shadow Day is designed to give people with disabilities the unique opportunity to get a close up look at the world of work for one day in April each year, but this year we have had such a positive response that we have decided to continue the Job Shadow right into May.

Limerick Job shadow started on the 27 April with Northern Trust, Ambicare, An Garda Síochána, R.E.M. Raheen and then continued onto Friday 6 with Thomond Park where Director John Cantwell and Colm Moran from the home of Munster Rugby welcomed Conor to the stadium, where he helped prepare the pitch for last Saturdays Munster Vs Scarlets match.

The corporate sector is also well represented again this year with Northern Trust who welcomed EmployAbility clients to a day’s mentoring on interview preparation skills.  We also looking forward to hosting the jobshadow with Mary Immaculate College and Irish Recruitment Consultants in the coming days.
