This unique event will offer 400 participants an opportunity to reflect creatively on silence and voice as part of their journey as women in Ireland. A wide range of topics will be discussed including violence against women and homelessness and will include hearing the diverse voices of women in our communities.
Speakers at the two-day Ennis Feminist Festival will consist of feminists and activists from around the country. This year we will be guided by but not limited to overarching themes of, Feminism, Anti-racism, Environmentalism, and Militarism.
The speakers at the Ennis Feminist Festival will be joined by local musicians, singers, poets, and artists, with some dancing and acting thrown in for good measure! This is a festival open to anyone from any background, with an interest in the many issues affecting women, which will arise over the course of the two days. All are welcome.
