The Ennis Road Community First Responders (CFR) Information Night will be held at the Woodfield House Hotel in Limerick on Tuesday, October 22nd, and the group is inviting community members who are eager to make a meaningful difference to come along and learn more.

Running from 7:30 PM to 9.00 PM, this information session will provide insights into the vital work of Community First Responders, who play a critical role in the early minutes of medical emergencies. Volunteers will explain the process of becoming a CFR, the training involved, and how volunteering just a few hours a month can save lives in our community.

There will also be plenty of time for questions; and no previous medical experience is required—just a desire to help and contribute to the safety and well-being of others.

Organisers said, “As our community continues to grow, so does the need for trained responders who are ready and willing to act during emergencies like cardiac arrests, stroke and choking. Joining the Ennis Road CFR means becoming part of a supportive team that is dedicated to serving our local area, ensuring that help is always nearby when it is needed most.”

The event takes place on Tuesday, October 22 from 7:30 PM to 9.00 PM at Woodfield House Hotel, Ennis Road, Limerick with the Ennis Road CFRs saying, “If you’ve ever wanted to make a difference in your community, now is the time to take action! Join us on October 22nd and see how you can help save lives by becoming a Community First Responder.”
