Esquire now have the chance of winning this year’s overall prize in 2023

Limerick City Tidy Towns have presented their October 2022 monthly award to Esquire Formal Menswear on Roches Street.
Maura O’Neill of Limerick City Tidy Towns said, “In selecting our monthly award winners, we try to cover as many different types of business as possible, old and new, and spread them geographically about the city, and this well-known formal menswear shop is certainly deserving of recognition. The contemporary black painted double frontage and spotlessly clean windows cover a substantial part of Roches Street in the heart of the city’s Fashion Quarter, and the modern signage, tiled entrance and attractive window displays are always beautifully presented and maintained.”
Esquire Formal Menswear first opened in April 2013 with a mission to provide high quality formal men’s and boys’ wear for sale and hire at affordable prices. They offer a personal and professional service to their loyal customer base and provide a broad range of styles in wedding wear, tuxedos, business and fashion suits for all occasions. They pride themselves in understanding and recognizing customers’ needs, whether they are getting married, guests at a wedding, attending a funeral, going to a black-tie event, graduation or debs. They also offer a same-day tailoring service.
Esquire Formal Menswear is Limerick City Tidy Towns’ ninth monthly award winner for 2022, and as a result will be in with the chance of winning this year’s overall prize at their annual event to be held early in 2023. The winners from January and February 2020 will also be included in the overall event, as well as Treaty City Brewery, Khan Supermarket, Seoidin Jewellery, Souths Pub, The Bedford Townhouse & Café, Wickham Way Market, The Locke Burger and Annemarie Bourke Art Gallery & Studio and who won monthly awards so far in 2022
If you wish to nominate a business in the city for a monthly award or indeed to volunteer with Limerick City Tidy Towns, they meet every Sunday morning at 11 am at the corner of Thomas Street and O’Connell Street, and on Wednesday evenings at 6 pm outside the White House during summer months.
