Dr. Jana Fischerova is Adjunct Assistant Professor of Czech and European Studies in Trinity College Dublin, as well as a lecturer in Irish and English Literature at the Access and Lifelong Learning centre, UCD.
She has written on the topic of literary censorship, including an article on the fate of Kate O’Brien’s The Land of Spices, published in the IUR.
Kate O’Brien’s work and legacy have formed the main focus of Dr. Jana Fischerova’s research for many years, and she has recently completed editing a volume of the writer’s non-fiction.
