Ormston House is delighted to present a performance by TENGGER.
A travelling musical family based in Seoul, TENGGER is comprised of South Korean/Japanese couple ITTA and MARQIDO and their twelve-year-old son RAAI.
The group creates their unique, psychedelic New-Age drone music through the use of vocals, Indian harmonium, synths and electronics, and toy instruments.
The family’s yearly pilgrimages inform every aspect of their art. Travel, as spiritual experience in real environments, and the sound between the space and the audience have been central themes of their works.
Their interest in cosmology is reflected in their outlook and lyrical approach.
The concert is suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
