As part of the annual Joyce Brothers Music Festival, a range of traditional arts workshops will be held to introduce musician, singers, dancers and, that rarest of creatures, whistlers to the Joyce collection.
11:30am to 1pm: Beginners Music Workshop in Teach na Cille.
Join musician Brid Harper to learn simple tunes from the Joyce collection. This workshop is aimed at beginner musicians. All instruments welcome.
11:30am to 1pm: Intermediate Music Workshop Old Chapel Rooms
Join musician Dermot Byrne to learn more advanced tunes from the Joyce collection. This workshop is aimed at intermediate musicians.

11:30pm to 1pm: Advanced Music Workshop in Ó Céilleachair’s
Join musician Steve Cooney to learn advanced tunes from the Joyce collection. This workshop is aimed at proficient musicians.

2:30pm to 4pm: Traditional Singing Workshop in Ó Céilleachair’s
Join Deirdre Scanlan for a singing workshop, suitable for singers of all levels.
2:30pm to 4pm: Sean Nós Dancing Workshop in Old Chapel Rooms
Join Ciara Flanagan to explore the joy of traditional dance. This is suitable for dancers of all abilities.
4:15pm to 5:30pm: Whistling Walk,
Join Anita Bennis to learn the skill of whistling a tune while enjoying a walk in the magical scenery of Poulnadiha (Ponahihole) and Kileen Fields. Suitable for beginners. Meet at the church car park for directions/transport.
