Dance Limerick is proud to present What Next dance festival 2023. What Next brings together a dozen dance artists at the cutting edge of their fields for a four-day programme packed with fresh and vibrant performances, talks and installations.
The Festival is an important platform which shines a light on new creations from both Ireland and abroad. It enables artists to connect with local audiences and provides a special space for interaction and creative exchange.
Highlights of this year’s edition are the two-day atelier Dancing on the Edge: Peripheral Practice co-hosted with Dance Ireland and the EDN Network, a video installation at the Limerick City Gallery of Art, a VR performance at the Belltable, three mixed bills at Dance Limerick Church and many more events to discover the best of contemporary dance and Limerick’s cultural sites.
