Willow Weaving Workshop

FreeJoin us for our next Creativity for Wellbeing workshop on Thursday 11th April from 11am – 2.15pm where we will be weaving willow with artist Rose Hanley!
Part 1: 11.00am – 12:40pm
In Part 1, we will discuss how creativity supports our wellbeing and mental health.
We will:
- Explore what the term “creativity” means and the wide range of creative activities available.
- Gain an understanding of the important role creativity has in enhancing our sense of wellbeing and improving our mental health.
- Identify the potential barriers to creativity and explore ways in which we can build in creativity to our daily lives.
- Start a creativity planner to help us get started, whether it’s learning something new or revisiting an old hobby.
At 12.40pm to 1.00pm there will be a break (Complimentary tea/coffee will be provided. Please feel free to bring a sandwich)
Part 2: 1.00pm – 2:15pm
Part 2 enables participants to get hands on with creativity. This session will focus on Willow Weaving. Artist Rose Hanley will facilitate this session. No experience is necessary.
