Exclusive Wedding Fayre to celebrate International Women’s Day in support of Cliona’s Foundation

Limerick Wedding Professionals are holding their ‘Exclusive Wedding Fayre’ at the Fitzgerald’s Woodlands House Hotel on Sunday, March 8 to celebrate International Women’s Day.

All funds raised from the event will go towards helping Cliona’s Foundation, an Irish charity that provides financial assistance to families with critically ill children.

Wedding Professionals was set up to help couples find the best wedding venues and suppliers that provide outstanding products and services to the wedding industry in Limerick, the Midwest Region and Ireland nationwide.

Limerick native Michael Phelan, a professional wedding videographer at PVP Wedding Films for over 15 years knows the wedding industry inside and out.

He created Wedding Professionals to provide a platform where brides and grooms can find the very best local and reputable wedding venues and suppliers who have a proven track record in providing a very high standard of service to couples planning their big day.

Michael says, “The growth of Wedding Professionals has been so great that 2020 is sure to be a big year with several exclusive wedding fayres scheduled. What makes us different is we are not a wedding directory or advertising company set up to make advertising revenue.

This ‘Exclusive Wedding Fayre’, in honour of International Women’s Day, will be hosted by Richard Lynch of ilovelimerick.com and aims to take the confusion out of planning a wedding day by bringing together the most reputable local wedding venues and suppliers all under one roof.

Michael adds, “This will be a FREE event with no charge at the door, but to give back to the community, we will be fundraising for Cliona’s Foundation by asking people to donate whatever they wish on the day with all proceeds going to the charity.”

Cliona’s Foundation was set up by Brendan and Terry Ring, following the death of their daughter Cliona, from an inoperable brain tumour in 2006 aged 16.

Terry attended the launch of the Wedding Fayre at the Woodlands House Hotel and said, “We are honoured that Limerick Wedding Professionals have chosen International Women’s Day to raise funds that will provide financial assistance directly to parents of children with life-limiting or chronic complex care needs across Ireland and to help with the non-medical expenses related to caring for their child. We will be there on the day and look forward to meeting all the couples and wish them every happiness for their future.”
