MUA to the stars Fiona McNamara opens new beauty emporium in Limerick

Limerick native Fiona McNamara has officially launched her own hair and makeup emporium in her hometown of Mungret Village and the well-known makeup artist hosted a glamorous soiree for friends and family to celebrate. The salon named FMN Makeup and Hair offers customers a full beauty service with the space encompassing makeup stations, and a full hair salon menu.

Fiona is well established within the beauty industry in Ireland having won several awards for her work such as Bridal Makeup Artist of the year. She has been an industry professional for the past seven years. Fiona can credit herself with being a makeup artist to the stars having worked with celebrities such as Suzanne Jackson, Celia Holman Lee, Sinead O’Brien and Marissa Carter. She has always dreamt of opening her own beauty salon in Limerick.

Fiona McNamara tells me, “I am over the moon to be unveiling FMN Makeup and Hair, and it’s a dream to be doing what I adore here in Mungret where I grew up. I know the community here which of course helps when opening a new business. Limerick ladies are very glam so I am sure they will love coming in for an up-style or blow dry or a set of lashes for a big event or Christmas party. Limerick also has some fabulous wedding venues so I am hoping to reach out to brides-to-be and bridal parties who need hair and makeup services for the big day.”

Fiona herself specialises in bespoke bridal and media makeup artistry and has worked with several high profile publications and TV shows including RSVP magazine, Xpose, Ireland AM and The Sunday World.
