ADAPT runs the largest refuge in the country providing emergency accommodation for women and children who have to leave their homes because of domestic abuse.

“Everyone deserves a safe home at Christmas. But women and children forced to leave their homes due to domestic abuse will spend this Christmas in emergency accommodation,” said a spokesperson for ADAPT Domestic Abuse Services.

“Many individuals will be spending Christmas in safe homes due to domestic abuse. I went about curating this evening to raise awareness of this fact and to join together music creatives and raise much needed funds.” said Nile St. James.

Proceeds from the night will go towards refuge supplies, therapy sessions, freephone helplines and transport for refuge-seekers.

With the line-up already including acts such as Weenz, Sinéad Toomey, SOMM, Toucan, Dora Gola, Durt, Jen Ronan, Dylan Flynn, Green Tea as well a many more to be announced, the night promises to be filled with folk, soul, spoken word and endless entertainment.
