Full Moon Rising 2022 Festival raises funds for Kilmeedy Community Development Group

Full Moon Rising 2022 Festival will feature live bands, DJs and singers that will keep everyone entertained from early evening until late into the night.

All roads lead to Kilmeedy village on October 7th and 8th 

Saturday, October 8 is the main event with live bands, DJs and singers.

All roads lead to Kilmeedy village on October 7-8 for the Full Moon Rising 2022 festival and this is one not to be missed!

Friday, October 7 is for the youth of the parish. This night will have all the fun and frolics you would expect at a children’s event. Planned activities for the night include a children’s disco, arts, and crafts and a few surprises along the way!

Saturday, October 8 is the main event with live bands, DJs and singers that will keep everyone entertained from early evening until late into the night.

The musical lineup includes Escapade, Black Sugar Band, North of Fortitude, London DJ Martin Long, Singer/Songwriter Daniel Darley, local talent Dave O’Sullivan, Shambollixes, Public Demand and DJ Davin Toomey.

There will be four bars onsite and an array of food vendors also. Gates open at 4 pm and close at 1:30 am.

Tickets to the event cost €50 and the price includes four tokens which can be used in exchange for a drink or used at one of the food vendors on the night.

Tickets are available to purchase from the Roots Shop and Café, Kilmeedy Village, and Lynch’s Shop, Feenagh Village.

Tickets are exclusively for the main event on Saturday, October 8. The event is strictly over 18s.

All proceeds go to Kilmeedy Community Development Group.

Kilmeedy Community Development Group CLG works to improve facilities and services for all residents of Kilmeedy.

He was named the Limerick Person of the Year (2011) and won an online award at the Metro Éireann Media and Multicultural Awards (2011) for promoting multi-culturalism online.
