Limericks answer to donuts Funky Donut & Co

Limericks first donut and coffee shop, Funky Donut & Co has opened its doors to the people of Limerick this August 18.

Funky Donut & Co is located at 74 little Catherine Street and is open Monday to Saturday from 8:30am to 5:30pm

Costumers are advised to come early as Donuts tend to sell out quick throughout the day!

Founder of Funky Donut & Co, David Hennessy expresses the company has, “been in the works for nearly 12 months but finding the right combination of location, coffee & the right donut ingredients took a lot of time and tasting of course”.

The business boasts to have the best coffee and most unique donut flavors from Pinna Colada to Rocky road, ensuring there is something there for even the pickiest of costumers.

The different ideas for each donut came with ease as David expresses, “we are 2 fully qualified award winning chefs with over 20 years’ experience so taste and presentation were always going to be key”.

Funky Donut & Co have recently set up an online ordering service. The costumer has the opportunity to order their own donuts at least 24 hours before collection from the store to ensure guarantee all their favorites are still in stock!

Customers can buy four donuts for €10, six donuts for €15 and twelve donuts for €25.

David continued to say how the response from the public so far has been “One word “WOW””.

The company has already plans to expand and are constantly thinking of new ideas for Funky Donut & Co.
